Gwen
Great Pyrenees: An adoptable dog in
Bloomington, IL
Gwen is a 10 year old sweet,
well behaved girl and would be a wonderful companion for that special person
who wants an only pet with some minor special needs (medication for low
thyroid). She lost her right eye to a tumor, but we think her "permanent
wink" makes her even more special. Gwen really deserves to spend her
senior years being someone's baby as opposed to one of many in a kennel
situation. She is a people dog and loves everyone she meets. Gwen was an
unclaimed stray so we don't know her history but she gives every indication of
having been a much loved, well trained family member at some time in her life.
We hope to find a new family for her who will give her the love and care she
deserves in her mature years. Gwen rides great in the car, walks nicely on
leash and is clean and neat in her kennel, but she will need to be an only pet.
She loves her big pillow bed and will faithfully guard your yard from any and
