HOOAH! My name is RANGER, named after Army Ranger Sgt. 1st Class Leroy Arthur Petry, who was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor the same day I was rescued. Sgt Petry lost a hand protecting two comrades in Afghanistan by tossing away a live grenade. Petry is the second living, active service member to receive the Medal of Honor for actions in Iraq or Afghanistan. In his honor, my foster has name me RANGER!
